Kurz und klar: the four grammar points of Kapitel 7.

Grammar 1

Sätze verbinden: denn und weil · वाक्यों को जोड़ना

Both mean “because”, but they behave differently. denn joins two main clauses (Hauptsätze) — the verb stays in position 2. weil introduces a subordinate clause (Nebensatz) — the verb moves to the end.

Konjunktiv II: sollte (Ratschläge) · सलाह देने का रूप

sollte is the polite, softer way to give advice — like “should” in English. It behaves like a modal verb: it takes position 2, and the main verb goes to the end as an infinitive.

Genitiv: Name + -s · नाम + Genitive

To show possession with a person’s name, just add -s (no apostrophe, unlike English). If the name already ends in -s, -z, or -x, add only an apostrophe.
