We built the German course we wished existed when we were learning.
GermanBhasha is an online German learning platform made entirely for Indian students — with live classes delivered in Hindi or English based on what works best for you, and a clear path from A1 to B2.
हमने वह German course बनाया जो हमें तब चाहिए था जब हम सीख रहे थे।
German is not difficult. It just needs to be taught the right way — in the language that works best for you.
Indian students deserve a German course built for them.
Have you ever sat in a German class and felt more lost after the lesson than before? You’re not alone — and it’s not your fault.
Most German learning resources available to Indian students are designed for Western audiences. The grammar explanations use analogies that don’t connect with how Indian students naturally think about language. The vocabulary examples are culturally distant. The teaching pace assumes a familiarity with Western learning styles that most Indian students simply don’t have.
Indian students who dream of Germany — for Ausbildung, university, a spouse visa, or a career change — end up spending months on apps and YouTube channels that leave them stuck at the very basics. They can recite “Ich bin ein Student” but can’t hold a real conversation. They know what Akkusativ means but can’t apply it in a sentence.
GermanBhasha was created with one clear belief: German is not a difficult language. It just needs to be taught in a way that actually connects — and in the language you understand best. Our classes are conducted in Hindi, English, or a natural blend of both — based entirely on what each student needs. Some students prefer English explanations; others understand grammar far better in Hindi. We adapt, not you.
We built GermanBhasha to be that bridge. Not just a course platform, but a community where Indian learners find their footing in German — clearly, confidently, and without the confusion that stops so many people from reaching their goals.
Every week, students from our batches write to tell us they cleared their Goethe exam, got their Ausbildung visa, or simply had their first full German conversation. That is why GermanBhasha exists.
What we stand for.
Three principles that shape every class, every note, every piece of content we create.
German grammar has a reputation for being hard. We refuse to accept that. Every topic — from articles to the Konjunktiv — is broken down until it is genuinely simple. If a student leaves a class confused, that is a failure of teaching, not of learning.
Our classes are delivered in Hindi, English, or a natural mix of both — based on what each student understands best. Some students grasp grammar faster in Hindi; others are more comfortable in English. We don’t force one medium. We follow what works for you.
A Goethe certificate is a milestone, not the destination. Our goal is that you can use German in real life — at the Ausbildung interview, at the German university office, with your colleagues in Germany. Exam preparation and practical fluency are taught together, never separately.
The person behind GermanBhasha.
Prajesh Sharma — educator, learner, bridge-builder.
Prajesh Sharma started GermanBhasha after experiencing firsthand the gap that Indian students face when learning German from resources not designed for them. Having gone through the process of learning German himself — and understanding how differently it clicks when explained through a familiar lens — he built GermanBhasha to give every Indian student the clarity he wished he had. Classes are conducted in Hindi, English, or both, tailored to each student’s comfort.
His approach is direct, structured, and student-first. He adapts the language of instruction — Hindi, English, or a mix — based on what each student responds to best. Students consistently report that topics that seemed incomprehensible in other courses — cases, adjective endings, separable verbs — suddenly make complete sense in his classes, because the explanation meets them where they are.
Beyond teaching, Prajesh runs the GermanBhasha blog — one of the most detailed free German learning resources for Indian students on the internet, covering everything from A1 chapter breakdowns to B2 grammar deep-dives, all with Hindi and English translations, audio, and quizzes.
A growing community of Indian learners.
Our approach is different — here’s how.
Six principles that make a GermanBhasha class feel unlike any German class you’ve attended before.
Classes are conducted in Hindi, English, or a natural mix of both — based entirely on what each student finds clearest. If you prefer English explanations, we teach in English. If Hindi makes grammar click faster for you, we switch. We follow your comfort, not a fixed script.
From the very first A1 class, you speak German. Not just listen, not just read. Real-time conversation practice in every session ensures your speaking confidence grows alongside your grammar knowledge.
Every lesson is built with the Goethe and TELC exam structure in mind. There are no surprises in the exam hall — you have already practised every question type, every topic, every time limit.
Each level has a fixed curriculum. You always know what is coming next, what you have already mastered, and how close you are to completing the level. No jumping between random topics.
Miss a class? Forget a point? Every session is recorded and summarised. Class notes, vocabulary lists, and grammar sheets are shared after every lesson so you can revise at your own pace.
We deliberately keep batch sizes small. Your teacher knows your name, your weak points, and your goal. The class adapts to the students in it — not to a fixed script that ignores your doubts.
Four levels. One clear path.
Whether you are starting from zero or picking up where you left off, we have a level for you — and a clear bridge to the next one.
