  1. Articles are CRUCIAL – Always learn nouns with their articles: der Bahnhof, das Hotel, die Kirche
  2. Asking for directions:
    • Formal: Wo ist der Bahnhof, bitte? (Where is the station, please?)
    • Informal: Wo ist der Bahnhof?
  3. Giving directions:
    • Gehen Sie links (Go left)
    • Dann rechts (Then right)
    • Geradeaus (Straight ahead)
  4. “kein” vs “nicht”:
    • kein = no + noun (kein Bahnhof = no station)
    • nicht = not (Das ist nicht der Bahnhof = That is not the station)
