About GermanBhasha

An online German learning platform built entirely for Indian students — live A1 to B2 classes taught in Hindi, English, or a natural mix of both, plus a free blog with detailed lessons and Hindi & English translations.

हमने वह German course बनाया जो हमें तब चाहिए था जब हम सीख रहे थे।

Why We Started

Most German learning resources available to Indian students were never designed for them. The grammar books, apps, and videos are made for Western audiences, with examples and explanations that feel culturally distant. Many learners spend months stuck at the basics — able to recite a few sentences, but unable to hold a real conversation or use grammar confidently.

We started GermanBhasha with one belief: German is not a difficult language. It simply needs to be taught the right way — clearly, in a structured path, and in the language the student already understands. When grammar is explained through a familiar lens, topics that once seemed impossible suddenly make sense.

Meet the Founder

Prajesh Sharma

FOUNDER & LEAD EDUCATOR

GermanBhasha was founded by Prajesh Sharma, a German language educator who lives in Germany. After learning German himself and seeing how differently it clicks when explained through a familiar lens, he built GermanBhasha to give every Indian student the clarity he wished he’d had when starting out.

His teaching is direct, structured, and student-first. He adapts the language of instruction — Hindi, English, or a mix — to whatever each student responds to best. Students regularly say that topics they found impossible elsewhere — cases, adjective endings, separable verbs — finally make sense in his classes. Prajesh also runs the GermanBhasha blog and the YouTube channel Sharma Ji Germany Wale, where he shares free German lessons and real experiences of life in Germany.

What We Stand For

Three principles shape every class and every lesson we publish.

1

Clarity over complexity

Every topic, from articles to the Konjunktiv, is broken down until it is genuinely simple. If a student leaves a class confused, we treat that as a teaching problem — not a learning problem.

2

Taught in the language that works for you

Some students grasp grammar faster in Hindi; others prefer English. We don’t force one medium — our classes adapt to the student, not the other way around.

3

Real outcomes, not just certificates

A Goethe or TELC certificate is a milestone, not the goal. We want you to use German in real life — in an Ausbildung interview, at a German university, or with colleagues in Germany.

What We Offer

We cover four levels with a clear path from one to the next. Every level is aligned with Goethe and TELC exam standards. Classes are live and interactive, kept in small batches so each student gets personal attention, with recordings and notes shared after every session. If you prefer to learn for free, our blog offers detailed lessons for every level — with vocabulary, grammar guides, audio, and quizzes, all translated into Hindi and English.
